Operating mode

In this mode, generators can operate individually or in parallel. Peak-shaving support from the converter (batteries) is active.

When the system is in Electric Mode, power comes exclusively from the batteries. If the charge level of the batteries drops below 20%, the system will automatically start the generators and transfer the load without blackout.

In this mode, the system can synchronize and transfer loads with the power grid without blackout, either coming from NAVIGATION mode or ELECTRIC mode.

In this mode, to be enabled during maneuvering operations, the system must be able to deliver maximum power: the generators and converter are all active and connected in parallel.

In this mode, the generators operate without any support from energy storage.
