Small size and great beam depth are the two main features of the QT range.
The concept for Underwater Lights Limited’s range of submersible lights called ‘QT’ is somewhat unusual for such a technical product: a submersible light must always be reliable and powerful, but at the same time small and uniquely designed.
Manufactured to the strictest international standards, these hull-mounted underwater lights have been tested at 10 bar pressure and are designed for installation on both fiberglass and wooden hulls. The lamp body is made of an incredibly strong Aluminum Titanium alloy, while the lens is made of borosilicate glass, with all components exceeding industry standards.
This LED light system is specifically designed to operate at low power to suit the availability of batteries on board, and lamp maintenance is carried out from inside the hull.
QT-80 and QTS-100 are made of titanium, a huge step forward compared to the bronze/aluminum used on all other high-quality lights. Titanium is resistant to corrosion and electrolysis, offering enormous advantages should there be a boat nearby with this problem. In fact, if a boat disperses a voltage in the water, it will affect all others nearby if the cathode system is not completely isolated.
The lens has a light diffusion of 140 degrees.
Another advantage of using titanium is that this lamp can be installed on any hull material, including aluminum, carbon fiber and steel, thus eliminating the need for expensive welding. Installation is very quick and easy even in the most complex projects.
The titanium flange is available on the full line of QTS models, from the low power 20W unit to the larger QTS 130 HP3 units, making the QTS light available for any boat and any budget.
The QT light range adds to the extensive Underwater Lights product range designed for owners of small boats to larger yachts around the world.
Underwater Lights products are manufactured from materials suitable for the marine environment, high pressure tested, including 316L stainless steel, 5083 Aluminum, titanium and complex plastics.
