GenKleen Compact
For many years, boat owners have had to struggle against the oil film that forms on the sea's surface due to the discharge of oily residues from generators, regardless of their make or model.
Although often not visibly apparent, this small percentage of oil released into the sea has caused environmental damage and hindered some of the simplest pleasures of sea navigation, such as swimming around the boat itself. Harbor authorities often insist that generators be turned off while docked.
The GenKleen Compact solves this problem by using a patented filtration system that eliminates hydrocarbon residues from generators and releases practically pure water into the environment.
The operation of the GenKleen Compact is simple and economical. The exhaust flow passes through a silencer and reaches the GenKleen unit, where the exhaust gases are separated from the impure water. After separation, the exhaust gases pass through a normal return duct, and the water is fed into a filtration system. Once the hydrocarbons are eliminated, the water can be safely expelled from the boat.
