Parker Racor Spin-On series fuel/water separators for marine applications provide maximum protection for modern diesel and gasoline engines, effectively removing contaminants such as water, sand, dirt, and rust from fuel, ensuring greater engine durability and reliability.
All Spin-On series filters use the Acquabloc filter element. Depending on the chosen product, three different filtration grades are available: 30 microns, 10 microns, and 2 microns.
Plus, during Spin-On filter maintenance, only the filter element is replaced, as the contaminant collection bowl and drain plug are reused.

Racor cartridges are manufactured with the Aquabloc filter element consisting of a very high-quality paper impregnated with resins associated with a special chemical treatment. Water cannot pass through the cartridge: Aquabloc repels it.
There are three different gradations of filtration also recognizable by the color of the cartridge and the initials:

• Brown “S” 2 microns
• Blue “T” 10 microns
• Red “P” 30 microns

Racor has also designed special gaskets to ensure the best seal. These are not just any gaskets, but they are specially designed to ensure that the filter always works properly.

The environmental problem concerning emissions from internal combustion engines has increased significantly over the past decade. In order to further reduce engine emissions, it has become increasingly necessary to close off the engine block’s venting system, directing gases into an air intake system.
The blow-by effect of internal combustion engines occurs when, due to the heat produced by combustion in the cylinders, lubricating oil vaporizes and is vented into the surrounding environment.
The crankcase conveys the oily gases into an air filtration system by condensing and filtering the oil vapors back into the engine sump.
