5 - 9 kW (50 HZ) / 6 – 11 kW (60 HZ) DIESEL GENERATORS

Equipped with new-generation three- or four-cylinder engines, they are among the most compact and lightest in this category.
The ADC IId Controller is easy and intuitive to use, with just two buttons (Power and Start/Stop) and a two-line, 12-character display. Via an easily accessible USB port, new software versions can be uploaded and operating events can be checked. The controller also has a microprocessor for power management, injection and a hybrid voltage regulator, and can interface with SmartcraftTM - V1.0, NEMA 2000 - SAE J1939 - CAN bus.

Engine features: EPA Tier III certification; closed-loop cooling system; heat exchanger; oil drain valve.

Generator features: remote control with 12-pin connector; voltage regulator ±1.0%; rotor and stator protected against corrosion and moisture; low overheating copper windings: insulation complies with NEMA Class H standards; directly connected to the motor, the electrical machine has high-precision sealed ball bearings and a precision system to prevent misalignment and extend bearing life.

Kohler KDI

Innovation is the common denominator in the design of KDI engines, characterized by the use of extremely cutting-edge technology that enables clean combustion while limiting emissions, complying with international regulations without the use of any aftertreatment device (DPF) and at the same time ensuring the achievement of extraordinary performance. The KDI engines used for marine gensets won the Diesel of the Year award in 2012 and 2015.
KDI engines are designed to meet the latest regulations and are EPA Tier IV final/Stage III/B compliant (EPA Tier III - 60Hz for the marine industry).

4 Valves

The 4-valve-per-cylinder timing system is designed to house the injector perfectly vertical and centered in relation to the combustion chamber. This solution optimizes the filling, atomization of the fuel and its mixing with the oxygen in the combustion chamber. Intake manifold and combustion chamber have been developed through careful fluid-dynamic analysis (CFD Analysis) to achieve efficient combustion.

ECU

The common-rail injection system on some models, together with the electronic control unit required to manage it, are both state-of-the-art and specially developed to equip all types of application. The ECU allows total control of engine calibration parameters to achieve performance and emission levels.

EGR system

The exhaust gas recirculation system is the result of careful fluid-dynamic analysis and extensive development testing. The positioning of the EGR valve on the ‘hot side’ prevents any possible blockage, a typical drawback of these systems. The exhaust gases cooling through the cylinder head optimizes the heat exchange without affecting the overall dimensions.

Anti-pollution regulations

KDI engines are designed to meet the latest regulations and are compliant with EPA Tier IV final/Stage III/B (EPA Tier III - 60Hz for the marine industry).
All engines are HVO compatible.

• Compliant with emission regulations EPA
Tier III emissions (60Hz)
• Excellent fuel efficiency - fuel consumption
• Long maintenance intervals
• Easy maintenance
• Low vibration
• Compact design
• No after-treatment devices
• No regeneration system
