SAIM has always held great interest in fixing and testing engines, in fact, during the activities of the B.U. Industrial over the years, we already used test benches to verify repaired engines or new ones for specific required certification by the various approval authorities.
The adoption of the Stage V emission reduction regulation has extended the strict anti-pollution laws to our small power diesel and Otto cycle engines.
SAIM has faced this challenge by investing in a new engine test bench built by APICOM which is able to perform this task granting the best safety for the operators, who are supported by the latest 4.0 technologies.
This new equipment makes it able to test tailored engines for all of the most different applications in severe conditions, even for prolonged trial times.
Whether it is a new engine, or a tested new one before its final use for a new application on operating machines, or it is overhauled engine, the "bench test" reports are produced to prove the perfect execution of the technical activities.
The engine test bench system provides constant presence of operators, it was built with noise reduction systems and protected by a new fire prevention system.
We can test a power range from 5 up to 350 kW with both diesel and gasoline power.
Of course, also gasoline, another alternative along with gas and "clean diesels“ to fight the pollution by reducing the emissions with the latest technologies at our disposal.
