As for so many years SAIM Marine was present at Yachting Festival in Cannes.
The Yachting Festival has been held every September since 1977, the first Show of the nautical season, and it is the most important in-water event in Europe. YFC brings together the leading players in the yachting industry who showcase their products for the first time.
In addition to the wide range of Kohler generators, to Dynamica gen-sets and other key products SAIM Marine supplies to both the Italian and international markets, the company focuses on technogical innovation at the boat shows in September.
The in-house engineering department is currently developing a smart energy control system for on board power management. The system will be the evolution of the renowned “Ship-to-Shore” system by SAIM and it is going to integrate electric gens, dock power supply and other energy sources on board (such as batteries) for seamless, efficient and automatic management.
Additionally new products releases including the expanded range of QS Seamaster thrusters, the brand-new QTE-140 light by Underwater Lights Ltd (check press release below) and a new 20kW model of the integrated electric SeaDrive pod, designed for greater power efficiency and sustainability, were also on show.
