SAIM Marine introduced the products of the well-known Turkish company Data Hidrolik - www.datahidrolik.com – for the first time at MYS. Data Hidrolik has been manufacturing windlasses, mooring capstans and electric and hydraulic steering systems for a broad range of marine vessel since 1945. SAIM Marine was designated as the sole distributor of Data Hidrolik deck machinery and steering systems last June as well as sales and after-sales services provider.
Furthermore, SAIM Marine introduced at MYS also AnchorGuardian by Swiss Ocean Tech: a new system of safety at sea by minimising the risk of anchor drag, providing predictions and triggering immediate alarms with sub-meter accuracy.
The solution monitors the movement & position of a ship’s anchor delivering intelligent data to support the crew while laying and lifting the anchor. The patented technology operates independent of GPS and any movement of the ship.
