Launched at the latest Mets, Zipwake Dynamic Trim Control System Series E is the natural evolution of the successful Series S that incorporates a state-of-the-art family of large durable, fast acting interceptors engineered for boats from 60 to 100 ft.
Series E includes three straight, three tunnel and two chine models. Their blade rate and stroke are 40 mm/s and 60 mm respectively. This means plenty of lift force without delay, outperforming conventional trim tabs’ control rate by a factor of 10.
Zipwake’s control panel provide easy, quick and intuitive manual control of running trim, heel or heading. However, the system normally operates in automatic control mode. The built-in high-frequency Gps, 3D gyro sensors automatically ensure dynamic elimination of uncomfortable and dangerous boat pitch and roll and automatically minimizes wave resistance and saves fuel. A 2.8” sunlight-readable colour display provides continuous feedback of boat speed, turning radius, pitch and roll angle. Its waterproof design withstands harsh marine conditions in open boats or on a flybridge.
The system can be monitored and controlled by external Gps and other devices via its NMEA 2000® interface.
A kit-box includes all parts – interceptors, control panel and distribution unit (DU-E) – for simple installation and easy retrofit.
This year SAIM Industrial exhibited KUBOTA engine V3800 and its multi-fuel development WG3800 at ECOMONDO in Rimini from 5th to 8th november.
The KUBOTA V3800 industrial engines match high performance and technology with excellence in emission compliance.
The Common Rail System (CRS) realizes NOx & PM reduction, efficient combustion, and better performance.
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) make: PM(Particulate Matter) traps, Passive/Active regeneration, and cleaner exhaust.
Engine Control Unit (ECU) allows proper engine management ensuring excellent performance and low fuel consumption.
Kubota’s WG3800 engines are designed on Kubota V3800 diesel base-engine which is known worldwide as one of the most reliable industrial engines.
They are high performance, compact and quiet engines, and their four versions (gasoline, LPG, natural gas and bi-fuel) are a good solution for customers who need fuel flexibility for their products.
The Boat Shows in Cannes, Genoa and Monaco are over and we can say that the presentation of the new products distributed by SAIM Marine had been successful.
Dynamica launched two new Models of the gen-set range. They are equipped with new Kubota engines, the new 70E and 90 E deliver 6 and 9 kW – two cylinders 479 cc for the 70E, three cylinders 719 cc for the 90E, are both available in the 50 or 60 Hz versions. The 60 Hz models are compliant with EPA Tier III for the USA market.
Kohler expanded generator range with two new powerful models. They both feature Kohler KDI engine and DEC 3500 controller and produce 28 and 35 kW. Both available in 1-phase and 3-phase version, the new models incorporate all standard premium features to deliver the optimum performance and a high level of quality for an enhanced level of reliability expected from Kohler.
The new electric Side Power thrusters – SE 250 and TC and SEP 250 and 300 TC – are both equipped with twin counter rotating 5-blade propeller Q-Prop and are available both in the ON/OFF and proportional control versions. Featuring 250 and 300 kg thrust they are suitable for boats between 60’ and 98’.
Underwater Lights expanded QT Marlin range and unveiled its latest model of submersible marine lights.
